"As an out and proud gay man, I can't effectively articulate how excited I was to go to one of the two gay bars located in Alaska but I made it! It's a typical gay dive bar with strong affordable drinks. It definitely had a neighborhood vibe to it and has a pool table, indoor and outdoor areas. Mad Myrna's is a popular gay bar and social club in the northeast area of Anchorage, close to the local gay scene. The venue features resident DJ's who fill the spacious bar with dance music. The bar also hosts cabaret shows and karaoke nights on a regular basis; the weekly drag shows are not to be missed.
